MIRROR REFLECTIONS

This is a series that started with finding a number of old rectangular mirrors at a flea market. Each tile had an Asian landscape, historical portrait, flower or animal printed or etched between the mirroring and the glass. I decided to build a series of mixed media pieces around these mirrors. The work collectively makes use of drawing, painting, Giclee prints, handmade paper, jewelry and art puzzles. Many elements are mounted on board to elevate them and add a dimensional aspect to the work.
